Indian spiritual leader Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh launched the trailer of his next film, Hind Ka NaPak Ko Jawab: MSG Lion Heart 2, with much pomp and show at his Sirsa (Haryana) complex. At the grand event, attended by lakhs of his followers, Ram Rahim spoke his heart out on many points, including his movie’s competition with Akshay Kumar starrer Jolly LLB 2 and comparisons with Shah Rukh Khan (Yes, you read that right).

He also disclosed that the Censor Board of Film Certification, better known as the Censor Board, has asked the film-makers to delete some scenes from the movie that feature Prime Minister Modi’s character. Since the film is based on India’s recent surgical strike across POK border, overseen by PM Modi, it is obvious to have his character in the movie doing the high-level meetings with the Indian army. But Ram Rahim says the Censor Board has asked them to remove those scenes, so he will release them on YouTube instead. “Yes, the film do have cuts. It was because we had  PM Modi in the film in conversation with soldiers and the army chief. So the censor board asked to remove those scenes. In fact, we also had an exact duplicate of Modi. So, because of restrictions for being so real and the rule for not using even the slightest references of the PM, we got few cuts. But most probably, we’ll put it on YouTube.”

Wait, do we have any such guideline where you cannot show Prime Minister’s character on the screen?

At the press meet, scribes also asked Ram Rahim’s reaction on his romantic scenes in the movie and comparisons with Shah Rukh Khan. “I never compare myself to anybody, and everybody’s work is different. When you’ll watch the movie, you’ll come to know that we were compelled to keep those scenes because of certain reasons and connectivity to the story. I faced a lot of difficulty while shooting those scenes. It doesn’t matter for other normal actors but because I am a guru and call every girl ‘beti’ so it was very difficult for me to do that.
