From being RJ to MTV presenter, and now the force of many music festivals in India, Nikhil Chinapa has come a long way. After his Sunburn stint, he came on board with VH1 India as their show director for flagship VH1 Supersonic. In its third edition, the music festival has already developed a massive fan following among music enthusiasts, courtesy it’s incredible and intelligent line-up of performers. This time, VH1 has got three headliners – Eric Prydz, Macklemore and Zedd. As one would expect, hatching and executing such a massive fest is hell of a task. In this exclusive conversation with Born of Web’s Karan Bhardwaj, Nikhil Chinapa talks about VH1 Supersonic’s journey, and why this edition is the most satisfying music fest of his career.
