Playing the antagonist in Irada as a politician, alongside Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi, Divya Dutta is always game for characters that break stereotype about her. Usually seen in head-strong and intense characters, she says “I don’t think that much, and work from my heart.” And that has definitely played in her favour.  A blunt, but honest person, she feels that she is not taken negatively when she instantly refutes a script that does not interest her. Dutta has been in the industry for more than 20 years now, and she has tremendously overcome all that would have led her to become a typecast actress, “I think that was my only battle to fight. Now I am in a very comfortable zone where I can choose from a variety of roles offered to me,” she tells us. For more of our exclusive chit-chat with Divya Dutta, check out the v-log below-
