Delhi’s fashion lovers got together to welcome French premium womenswear brand Marie Claire at a glamorous do at Hotel Shangri La. Showstopper Neha Dhupia spoke exclusively with Born of Web in a video log. With an impeccable fashion sense, the Julie actress has been a vivacious trendsetter and digital influencer for millions of her fans. A regular in Mumbai and Delhi’s fashion circuits and also a favourite of many youth-centric brands, Dhupia told us that her style is dictated by comfort and wearability factor. Though hesitant, she also gave a lesson or two to online trolls for targeting women. In fact, Dhupia was also recently trolled after she posted her photograph in a bikini on Instagram.
We also interacted with Stephanie Ertzbischoff, Brand Licensing Director, Marie Claire. “For the brand, we get inspiration from the DNA of the magazine (Marie Claire). Our clothes are fresh and have got a French soul,” she told Born of Web adding, “We want to adapt to the Indian taste and aesthetics.”
