Fashion designer Suneet Varma recently completed 30 years in the fashion industry. He threw a grand bash along with a fashion show at DLF Emporio, Delhi. Suneet’s friends from the fraternity turned up in full attendance to show their support and respect. We bumped into supermodel-turned-actor Dipannita Sharma who couldn’t stop raving about his friend! On our special request, she also dedicated a song to the designer. “Suneet always asks me to sing this old Mukesh number. The designer called his 2017 couture show – The Shining Star, which was all about glitter and pearls. The show also marked Suneet’s collaboration of 15 years with Swarovski Crystals, which has played a quintessential role in all his designs and global collaborations.
Minutes before the show, young designer Rahul Mishra, who’s making India proud in Paris, also shared his thoughts about the senior designer.
