reports Karan Bhardwaj
Remember we had published a report on actor, fashion entrepreneur Pernia Qureshi’s fallout with FDCI chief Sunil Sethi over her alleged attempts of ‘ambush marketing’ during the previous edition of Amazon India Fashion Week? Sethi had charged the fashionista of organising a proxy promotional event, which is a strict ‘No’ at the venue, hosted by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI). The feud was so intense that Mr Sethi had not only clamped down on Qureshi’s pop up party but also exchanged heated argument with the actor, ordering her to leave the sight.

But as they say, there are no permanent friends or foes in the glamour industry. It seems that Pernia Qureshi is back at the fashion weeks, organised by the FDCI, with full force. At the ongoing FDCI India Couture Week, Pernia Qureshi is seen hobnobbing with designers and gracing the front rows. In fact, she was giving media bytes and interviews on the sidelines of designer Anita Dongre’s show where she was a special guest along with actors Shabana Azmi and Bhumi Pednekar. Having seen that, we couldn’t catch her mingling with Mr Sethi, as yet. Have they buried the hatchet or just conforming to professional requirements of the business? Stay tuned!
