“Why are young boys and girls being told about their looks and languages?” wonders Huma Qureshi
We love people who break stereotypes or totally own their identity. We recently told you how a female bearded-model, Harnaam Kaur, silenced her bullies by becoming the showstopper for one of the designer shows in UK. Now we have Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi who has slammed body critics. Well, we are yet to figure out what kind of sadistic pleasure people take in making others insecure about their bodies or appearances but body-shaming is as ridiculous as people who encourage it.

Huma Qureshi, who was in Delhi to judge Femina Style Diva 2016, shared that young boys and girls have become the worst victim of bullying. The actress had also done a cover shoot for the magazine (Femina) a while ago to rip apart body-shamers. “Body-shaming is terrible. It doesn’t matter whether you are too skinny or fat, those who are bullies will always find a reason to bully others. There are a lot of people out there who want to constantly tell young boys and girls that they are not good enough. Your nose is not correct, you look fat, you are short or tall, you cannot speak English… all this is bullying. I think whoever you are and however you are, you are fine and you better be confident about it,” she told Born of Web. She has also said the she is not aiming to reduce or gain weight as she totally comfortable in her skin. Bravo!
