Global star Priyanka Chopra, who’s playing protagonist in American TV series Quantico where she is suspected of choreographing a terrorist attack, has criticised US Presidential candidate (2016) Donald Trump for his views against Muslim immigrants. She has said it is primitive to generalise people and put a face on terrorism. She is also against banning anybody in a democracy. “I just think you can’t put a ban on anyone,” said the actress who’s also featured in Time’s most influential list for this year.
Donald Trump, who’s campaigning for US presidential candidate, had called for a “total and complete shutdown” of the country’s borders to Muslims after San Bernardino terrorist attack. He drew flak from a lot of global personalities from different walks of life.

Now Chopra, who’s creating waves in Hollywood, has slammed Trump. “Generalising a type of people is really primitive,” she was quoted as saying. The fight against domestic terrorism has grown so complex that “you can’t put a face on it anymore,” she added.
