Nineteen people have been killed and around 50 injured in a blast in the English city of Manchester, during US singer Ariana Grande’s concert. It happened around 10:33 pm, Manchester local time.
It is seen as a suspected terror attack. “Currently we have 19 people confirmed to have died and around 50 injured. We are currently treating this as a terrorist incident until we know otherwise,” the Greater Manchester Police said in its statement on twitter. Ambulance and the bomb disposal team were rushed to the site.
The explosion happened at the end of the concert, which is the part of Grande’s tour Dangerous Woman.
The singer has reacted on the ghastly event on Twitter.”broke. from the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don’t have words.(sic),” she tweeted
