A nude photograph of Sunny Leone caused surge in traffic of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation’s website. One of the links on the website took visitors to Leone’s photograph captioned “having fun in the shower”.
The authorities alleged that the website had been hacked. As reported by The Times of India, Surendra Mohan, additional commissioner (IT), GHMC, said an internal probe was on to nab the culprits, hoping “this would never happen again.” Officials maintained the Centre For Good Governance (CGG) hosts the site and the picture could have emerged from their end. However, CGG officials have denied it demanding for a thorough probe.
According to the report, the number of daily visitors to the site has gone up by 16 per cent.
