Sonali Bendre talks about her debut book, The Modern Gurukul: My Experiments with Parenting, reading club on Facebook and her favourite authors
We have seen celebrities hiding their scars in public and not talking about things that they consider ‘weak’. But gorgeous actor Sonali Bendre is no run-of-the-mill star. She stumped the audience at the Dehradun Community Literature Festival 2017 when she discussed speech disorder of her son Ranveer, early challenges of parenting and how her husband Goldie Behl participate in raising their child. Bendre, known for her excellent oratory skills, won a million hearts when she also highlighted her love for books and shared how her debut book The Modern Gurukul: My Experiments with Parenting has helped her streamline issues of parenting.
