Kangana Ranaut says she is open to have creative collaborations with people having different sets of ideologies
Well, who won’t be excited to watch Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar together? After all, they fought an ‘ideological war‘ for almost a year over nepotism in Bollywood. In fact, the whole debate jolted the entire Hindi film industry in 2017. But with a turn of the year, both the artistes have decided to milk the controversy and generate some entertainment plus money. In a forthcoming television reality show, Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar will be seen sharing the space in a one-off episode. Interestingly, the show, India’s Next Superstar, aims to hunt fresh talent, to be cast in Karan Johar or Rohit Shetty’s forthcoming films. LOL!
As a matter of fact, Kangana Ranaut has said that she has not gone back on her words as nepotism row is an ideological debate, but she is honouring her “professional commitments”. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, she said, “It is a professional commitment for which I’m being paid. What is delightful is that Karan is okay with doing the show with me and seems to be slowly warming up to me.”
Kangana, who has been extremely aggressive in the entire nepotism row that saw many public commentaries and exchange of open letters between her and KJo, said she could relate with the show’s tagline that defies nepotism. She added she was open to have creative collaborations despite having difference in ideologies. “I have not gone back on my ideology. I stick to what I believe in,” she was quoted as saying.
