BornofWeb.com is the digital partner of the ‘Nobility for Ability Charity Polo Cup’ event, to be held in Paris later this month
“Nobility for Ability Charity Polo Cup”, after its successful launch in November 2017 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, is going international. The Chantilly Polo Club in France has dedicated its annual 12 goal charity polo cup, in honour of “Nobility for Ability”, to raise funds for the cause of empowering women and the differently abled in India. The event will be held on June 24, 2018, in the majestic Chantilly Polo Club, which is founded by the French sports entrepreneur, billionaire and aristocrat, Patrick Guerrand-Hermes of the Hermes family.
“Nobility for Ability” is born from the personal experience of Piya Bajwa, who has faced the toughest trials that life can throw at a woman. She was empowered by her strong will, and the help of many to face the tribulations and come out a more resilient individual, and it’s her turn to return some of that grace that life also had in store.
Bajwa shared that the event in France will support the “Princess Diya Kumari Foundation” (PDKF), involved in women’s empowerment and the girl child, and “ODE”, helping children with learning disabilities. Representing erstwhile royals, Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur will play in the invitation charity polo game between the Jaipur Royals and the Chantilly Polo Club.
The event highlight is a couture show by India’s leading designer Charu Parashar on the theme “Khadi the Fabric of Freedom & Harmony”. The designer’s endeavour is to promote and make khadi silk a mainstream fabric globally.
The full day event on 24th June will also feature a charity lunch, the Nobility for Ability 12 goal Charity Cup Final, and an exhibition of pashmina and shawls by Ahujasons. The guests in attendance will be the who’s who of the French business captains and social elites. “This is truly the first of its kind India focussed event in the Chantilly Polo Club that will present a glimpse of Indian heritage around a social cause” said Diya Kumari.
India’s premier international airline Jet Airways is the Airline Partner for the Nobility for Ability Charity Cup event in Chantilly. The palace property “Fairmont Jaipur” by the world-leading travel & lifestyle group AccorHotels is the Hospitality Partner. Renault Automobiles is the Mobility Partner. Sanjay Kasliwal – Gem Palace of Jaipur and Ahujasons – industry leader in Pashmina Shawls, Stoles and Scarves have also come forward as sponsors to support the “Nobility for Ability” charity polo event in France.
